REVILLA ORDERS DPWH TO MITIGATE ENTENG EFFECTS

SENATE Committee on Public Works Chairman Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr. on Monday morning (September 2) tasked the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to immediately dispatch crews to clear debris and garbage in roadways and drainage inlets.

Revilla issued the call amidst the rains brought by Typhoon Enteng.

The solon also asked the DPWH to check tarpaulin billboards which may pose hazards due to strong winds.

Revilla has consistently reminded concerned government agencies to proactively prepare to mitigate the impact of different natural disasters such as typhoons. -30-
