SEN. BONG REVILLA LEADS BAYANIHAN RELIEF OPS IN TOWNS OF BULALACAO, ROXAS, AND PINAMALAYAN IN ORIENTAL MINDORO AMID OIL SPILL

Amid the escalating oil spill in Oriental Mindoro brought about by the sunken MT Princess Empress, Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr. immediately led a bayanihan relief operation in the towns of Bulalacao, Roxas, and Pinamalayan in the said province to provide assistance to those gravely affected by the environmental disaster.

Sobrang laki ng pinsala nito sa buhay ng mga taga-Oriental Mindoro”, Revilla said as he talked to the people.

The lawmaker personally handed cash assistance and food packs to the affected families to aid them in starting over again. He was joined by Governor Humerlito Dolor, as well as Bulalacao Mayor Ernilo Villas, Roxas Mayor Leo Cusi, and Pinamalayan Mayor Aris Baldoz Jr. respectively.

"Kakayanin natin ang pagsubok na ito. Muling tayong babangon. Revilla added.

He further assured and inspired the victims that a new start will soon come for them as long as they do not stop enduring life and not lose hope, and continue to trust the One above.

The lawmaker also proceeded to the towns of Naujan and Pola to personally give assistance. -30-
